In this workshop, I will demonstrate how to glaze effectively using SOGO glazes at Kom Moi studio.

The following topics will be covered:
      
  • An introduction to safely working with pouring and dipping glazes

  • The importance of a well-mixed suspension
    •   
  • Some information about temperature and heat work
    •   
  • Recognizing the consistency of a good glaze
    •   
  • Key points regarding various studio glazes
    •   
  • Demo of glazing different pieces from participants
    •   
  • Various methods for pouring and dipping (hand, tongs, wax, suction cup)
    •   
  • Answers to all your glazing questions

If time allows, you can continue glazing with assistance. Firing costs will be settled with Kom Moi studio.

  • Cancellation

    The workshop will take place with a minimum of 6 participants.

    If you need to cancel, you can do so up to one month before the course starts. In this case, I will refund the course fee minus a €20 administrative fee.

    If you cancel less than a month before the course, the course fee will not be refunded unless you can find a replacement or there are people on the waiting list who can take your spot. In either of these conditions, I will refund the course fee minus a €20 administrative fee.
